Hills and Hollows Half Marathon (13.1mi.) and 5K (3.1mi.)
Run / Fun Walk will all start at 8:00 A.M. near the Emergency Services Building
in Valmeyer, IL
.
The start line will be clearly marked prior to race time. The runs and walk
will all start and finish at the same finish line. The 5K Run / Fun Walk will
follow the marathon course approximately 1.55 miles and then turn around back
toward the finish line.
Hills and Hollows Splits
Start/Finish – On Meyer 6’10” north of 1st light pole north of route 156
1. on Route C 351’ south of 1st bridge.
2. 63’ past double telephone pole, aprox. 300’ prior to southbound curve.
3. 3. 255’ west of phone box at Deer Hill intersection.
4. On Deer Hill 109’ north of mail box 5249.
5. On KK, 29’ west of 1st tree west of drive on west side of home #2571.
6. On KK 46’ east of mailbox 2169.
7. On KK 105’ east of phone box at 1837.
8. On route 3/Bluff Road, five telephone poles plus 115’ north of KK.
9. On route 3, 129’ past Phone box #44 (just past spot where north edge of woods meet the road).
10. On route 3, 160’ south of phone box #15, located at 2nd telephone pole south of the point where the phone lines cross the road (south of house at #6714).
11. In Old Valmeyer on Miller Street, 52’ east of 1st telephone pole east of Bluff Road.
12. On route 156, 52’ east of mail box 1615
13. On route 156, 23’ west of 2nd large wooden phone pole west of Meyer Road. Pole #
14. Finish – same as start.
